Together they have to stop an alien invasion, battle against strange monsters in order to find a way home and save their planet. Pilot and Huxley series has a cartoonish drawing style. This includes a fast paced storyline also a kind of humour that primary school aged boys would most certainly enjoy.

Hilda explores the life of a young girl by the name of Hilda. Taking in the world around her with her mother and her pet Twig as they live within a secluded forest and cottage, later on moving into a city called Trollberg. Along the way she meets many people of varying nature whether they be regular people or those of the supernatural and fantasy nature also highly colourful. This is drawn in a more notable cartoon style, although a more mature drawing style than compared to other styles like Pilot and Huxley. Primarily an adventure and fantasy based storyline.

Hilo follows a trio of children named D.J., Gina and Hilo as they explore their friendship, survive school and learn what it means to be a hero. Mainly the story viewpoint starts with D.J. and Gina as they meet a new friend Hilo who crashed on Earth from another planet. However another being landed on Earth who the trio fights against all the while they go to school. Science fiction based comics with friendship and adventure being primary themes. Is drawn in a cartoon style however details are predominately seen in colours and blending in background frames to create more details, e.g. sky setting and rising.

LumberJanes follows a group of five girls in the cabin called Roanoke at Miss Qiunzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet's Camp for Hardcore Lady Types. The girls Jo, Mal, April, Ripley and Molly explore their unbound curiosity at this summer camp meeting supernatural creatures during their curious filled adventures within camp boundaries and outside the camp boundaries. Exploring all they can during these young years as they age and explore who they are as an individual and as a group. Sharp angled drawing to specifically highlight a characters' feature e.g. lanky or rotund frames. Themes include but not limited to friendship, supernatural and coming of age.

Jellaby is following the friendship between a girl named Portia and monster named Jellaby who meet late one night shortly after she moved to a new town and new school. Eventually the duo make a new friend by the name of Jason. The trio join together in an adventure to find the true meaning of home, friendship and family. Using specific colours to highlight what is significant or a background change e.g. purples, black, white and red to make it night time, or the stripes on Jellaby to make them stand out against the purple blue body of one of the main characters. Themes of friendship and adventure being the most notable.

Bone follows the misadventures of three cousins who regularly move from one place to another to settle down after a campaign for mayorship went completely haywire which drove them out of their hometown. The three cousins named Phoncible P. "Phoney" Bone, Fone Bone and Smiley Bone. Eventually the cousins are separated into different parts of their world only to reunite when their world is in danger. Round drawing style of main characters to offset the more sharper lines creating the backdrop of the panels. Family, friendship and adventure being primary themes in the comic series.

Baby monkey, private eye is indeed a baby monkey who happens to be a private investigator charged with cases involving stolen spaceships, lost jewellery, missing pizza amongst other scenarios. He explores his environment to close his numerous cases. The style of the comic is done in black and white pencil and fine line pen style as depicted with old private investigator films or noir films with PIs as main characters. The more notable themes include mystery and adventure.

The adventures of Tin Tin follows the travels of a young man by the name of Tin Tin an adventurer and reporter alongside his trusty companions Captain Haddock a merchant sea captain and a little dog by the name of Snowy as they travel across many continents, oceans and even space. More often than not the trio with other companions attract danger and with great acts of heroism save the day of whatever event or country that they are involved in. Adventure themed series with an animal sidekick for the main character alongside other side characters like Captain Haddock who the main character, tin tin becomes friends with. Illustration  style can be considered as basic with layering added onto the frames by colour and lines to create additional details.

The Adventures of Asterix follows a small village of Gauls during the reign of Julius Ceaser the ruler of the Roman Empire. One of the villagers is by the name of Asterix. Alongside him is his friend and fellow villager Obelix. These two along with occasional tag along of fellow villagers and those with quests of their own traverse through numerous lands and seas to complete their tasks whilst defeating foes like Roman garrisons and pirates. Once doing so all parties arrive home safe and sound celebrating their victories with a uniting, village wide feast. The illustration style is that the frames were created first added on later the colours of which can be noticeable by way of gaps with the colouring, essentially line drawing with colours added in as highlighting details. Themes include adventure, friendship and quests.
